Since childhood, I have enjoyed and marveled at God’s diverse
creation. Over the years, I have grown to enjoy photography as a means
to “capture” its’ beauty for my enjoyment as well as sharing it with
others. Now, as a retiree after 41 years of corporate life, I am able
to devote additional time to a life-long passion.
Although my photo experiences have broadened in recent years (sports
& wedding candid’s), my first love continues to be nature with
a special focus on birds and flowers.
It is my prayer that you will experience the creator God as you view my
photographs.

Every photographer has a bias or preference for the gear they
use. Although, with rapidly changing technology, there are many good
brands on the market, I have chosen to use primarily Nikon equipment.
Beginning several years ago, I made the switch from film to digital and
am enjoying its’ advantages as technology continues to improve.
For those starting out in photography or just wanting to go to the next
level, I would offer the following suggestion. Buy what you can afford
and then spend as much time as possible in the field with your
equipment to become familiar with its advantages and weaknesses. Then,
with time, decide what gear upgrades are necessary and important to
satisfy your passion. To me, honing my photography skills is a
life-long process which I continue to pursue through educational
classes, learning from fellow photographers who I meet in my travels
and experience. I encourage you to check out the links provided for
both
products & services that I have found benefical in honing my
skills. It is far from complete, but may be helpful in stimulating
further research.
